From Lins to Rotterdam
Renato Perches Queiroz qualified as a dentist in 1983 at the Faculty of Dentistry of Lins, Brazil.
From the outset he wanted to look beyond his own practice: he served as a military dentist with the Brazilian armed forces, taught dental prosthetics, and specialised in implantology at the University of São Paulo.
In 2002 he moved to Portugal, in 2006 to Spain, and since 2013 he has been working in the Netherlands. Each country brought a different way of working, a different healthcare system, different patients. What stayed the same everywhere was the approach: listen first, treat second.
Today Renato works at Tandartspraktijk Spangen in Rotterdam and at Dental Network in Capelle aan den IJssel. In his case, forty years of experience does not show in a thick file of certificates, but in the calm with which he works at the chair: he has seen it many times before, and knows what works.
Outside the practice, Renato is a father and a grandfather.
